Rubbernecking With My Cell Phone Camera

Last week I got stuck in a traffic jam on the 91 Freeway in Los Angeles.  Nothing new there, but once I got to the front of the queue, I saw the aftermath of what looked like a head-on collision between a car and a street sweeper truck.  I’m still scratching my head trying to figure out how this happened.  I don’t think anyone got seriously hurt.

As I passed, I snapped a couple of photos with my Sony Ericsson w580i camera phone.  Most of my attention was on driving, so I was shooting from the hip.  I got lucky and the photos turned out fairly well.  At least they had the intended subject matter in them.    Enjoy:
