If I may clear up one of your tips. Knetwit does give points per instance, not size. However the note uploaded must be coherent within itself and be useful to another student. So, splitting a semesters worth of notes into individual lectures and labs is fine because the note is coherent in itself and each note would be useful to a another student. But splitting one lecture into individual pages would not meet the criteria as the note would not be coherent in itself and a user would have to download multiple documents to create one "note". If I may clear up one of your tips. Knetwit does give points per instance, not size. However the note uploaded must be coherent within itself and be useful to another student. So, splitting a semesters worth of notes into individual lectures and labs is fine because the note is coherent in itself and each note would be useful to a another student.

But splitting one lecture into individual pages would not meet the criteria as the note would not be coherent in itself and a user would have to download multiple documents to create one “note”.
